Kaaris – Or Noir (English lyrics)
I’m the fruit of your womb, I’m testifying on a field of ruins
Like a scarecrow, that keeps the Angels away from the trap
Mama, I don’t live I don’t die, Please pray for me, don’t cry
I spend a lot of time on a bunch of small details, And you see that time is flying
You told me : “Stay near the yard”, Before I started thuggin, I was breastfed
“Son, or else you’ll end up in a dope house bagging coke”
Me I never listened to the teacher, Me, I never did my homework
Mama, and if the cops ever lock me up, it’s because you had a black child
And I promised to be hardcore, until I die
You told me : “son you’re wrong, the world is full of things that you ignore”
More than often the weapons are there, but not the killer
More than ofter the tears are there, but not the hearth
Chorus :
All I have is my family, no friends
Some ennemies, and this melody
All I have is my family
No friends, in this dog’s life
Some trouble, some ennemies, and this melody
This melody , this melody
2nd verse :
The scars opened my soul, I have no attachments
Between the sky and the flames, my demons are playing hide and seek
If I had to chose between all this money and all these bitches
I would grab the big cheque, because money is the sweatest pussy
And I’m made out of black gold just like oil, the city lights are my fireflies
On every landscape like a Patrol, It doesn’t matter as long as I make a killing
We wither, In the last degrees of alcohol, dreaming about Cap Canaveral
About blow from Panama with all my rats in the Panamera
Thuggin is all I know, light years away from Gandhi
I’m in my zone while the univers grows larger
I’m crushing every rampart, Dark is my reality, unvarnished
I grab hold of French Rap, “93” on the banner
Chorus :
All I have is my family, no friends
Some ennemies, and this melody
All I have is my family
No friends, in this dog’s life
Some trouble, some ennemies, and this melody
This melody , this melody
It’s not Panama but Paname it means Paris here in France. But good job
Hey Sherazad, Thanks for the compliment and for commenting ! But are sure that he says Paname ? I know that Paname means Paris in French, but the lyrics I did the translation from clearly said Panama (wich makes sense to me because he’s talking about “blanche” as in cocaine, and Panama is right next to Columbia …).
